Certification mark

Every trade certified separately, and separately revocable

Redline Asset Watch is the accreditor — it performs none of the work it certifies, which is what lets it hold a federal certification mark. One mark is filed, but nothing spans trades: each endorsement carries its own certificate code, earned and revocable on its own, so a company reads as Redline Accredited — Roofing · Siding · Gutters with a separate code behind each.

Standing is deliberately absent from the mark. It lives at the verify code — which is why a revoked company keeping its truck wrap is worse for it than no seal at all.

The standard01

Four layers, each one verified against something real.

Legal

Required

Entity registration, statewide HIC registration, local licensing where required, bonding, liability insurance, BWC workers’ comp

How it is verified

Documents on file, rechecked at every renewal

Conduct

Required

Written contracts, honest scope, no manufactured urgency, no same-day-only pricing

How it is verified

Client reports and mystery-shop sampling

Performance

Required

Photo protocol compliance, callback rate ceiling, client score floor

How it is verified

Read directly from platform job records — the audit nobody else can run

Standing

Required

Annual re-audit, live public status, published removals

How it is verified

Automatic — standing is computed, not asserted

The standards are adopted, not invented

Technical criteria come from the recognized bodies — IICRC S500 and S520 for water, fire and mold; DCA 6 and code for decks; ACI guidance for concrete; manufacturer installation specs for roofing and windows. Redline’s claim is not that it knows better than the industry bodies. It is that it is the only one that verifies against them — with photos, outcomes, and a seal that can be revoked.

Rollout02

One trade at a time, in waves.

Endorsements are added only where Redline can actually audit the work — starting on home turf and expanding to credentialed partners. This is the live catalog; a retired trade closes to new applications without touching the certificates already earned under it.

What the mark may say04

The vinyl never claims what only the record can prove.

The trade band is the only element that changes, and only to a text drawn from the published catalog. The since-year is the year accreditation was first earned and never changes — tenure is the badge’s strongest claim. Current standing never lives on the vinyl: it lives at the verify code, which resolves to the live status page. A revoked company can keep the truck wrap; the code on it now reads REVOKED, which is worse for them than no seal at all.

Legal position

One federal certification mark filed by Redline Asset Watch with the trade designations; the mark owner performs none of the certified services, licenses the seal to every company that meets the published standard, and enforces it or risks cancellation. Ohio consumer law adds the rest: the seal must never read as a government credential, and any company in which the accreditor holds an interest carries the same standard and a plain-language disclosure on its status page.
